Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
Here is the thing that matters. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
