TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
